The fourteenth chapter of Revelation outlines the work that is to be done by the people of God just before the second advent of our Saviour. Three messages are there represented, which must go to all the inhabitants of the world.
John writes of an angel which he saw flying “in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting Gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
“And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.”
These three angels represent the people who accept the light of God’s messages, and go forth as His agents to sound the warning throughout the length and breadth of the earth. Christ declared to His followers, “Ye are the light of the world.” To every soul that accepts Jesus, the cross of Calvary speaks: “Behold the worth of the soul. ‘Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature.’”
Nothing is to be permitted to hinder this work. It is the all-important work for this time, and it is to be far-reaching as eternity.
Proclaiming The Everlasting Gospel of Revelation 14
The book of Revelation talks about Three Angels who have very specific messages. What do these voices from the sky say to us today? What are these messages? Were they intended for us in the modern day…or for people who lived long ago?
In the fourteenth chapter of Revelation, there are three angels who give a final warning message to the world just before the return of Jesus. Mankind is to make a choice between worshipping God or the beast.
The three angels messages in Revelation 14 are of such great importance that they have just as much significance as the message Noah gave to the world before the flood. The three angels message is the last warning to the world before the second coming of Christ Jesus, to worship and obey our Heavenly Father and Creator, and we find such solemn words in the messages that any true believer should be greatly stirred by them. This end time message is a life and death message and I pray that you will meditate on these three messages and keep them close to your heart. Please give all your soul, heart, mind and strength to Christ Jesus, as Time is running out!
